Sector Meetings

This year's Churches' Media Conference will once again feature two sector-meetings. These gatherings are designed to allow conference delegates to meet, work and talk with colleagues who are working in the same media sector.

Each sector is being produced by an industry leader in the relevant sector, and is designed to help delegates network with colleagues, engage with issues specific to that sector and grow professionally. The content of the sectors will vary. They may include lectures, workshops, further meetings with conference speakers, viewings, discussion or relaxation. The detailed programme for each sector will be available on arrival at the conference.

The sectors will meet concurrently, and delegates are free to decide which stream they would like to join, or to move between streams.

At present we are able to offer sector groups for those working in:

• Christian Independent broadcasting

• Theological reflection and cultural engagement
• Communications/PR
• Engaging with local media - Media Trusts and Media Hubs
• News / journalism
• Religious Broadcasting
• theMediaNet - Christians in the media
